Follow 1 Rule for a Beautiful Life

No matter what you do, no matter where you go, no matter what you get into, remember to follow the joy.

You see, people trick themselves. They think that they need to be that certain person. Have that certain car. Have that certain job. Be with that certain person. They think having and being those things will make them happy. Egos fool all of us into fulfilling an identity that we identify with. We all know how the story goes: you get everything you ever thought you wanted. Then, it’s still not enough.

It’s ok to want to make a lot of money. If it brings you joy — make the money. It’s ok to be that certain person. if it brings you joy — be that person. It’s ok to want to be with that certain person. If it brings you joy — be with that certain person. Once fulfilled, if any of your desires are not bringing you joy, then you probably didn't truly want them in the first place. You weren't following the joy!
