How does someone sell their soul? Please don’t do this… This kind of desire for power leads to suffering.

This is a classic narrative where someone has such a strong desire for power, they are willing to sell their soul for it, where selling your soul usually entails giving Satan or some other demonic entity dominion over your soul for eternity — becoming their slave.

There’s a classic story where a Dr. Faust makes a deal with Satan where Faust obtains Satan’s supernatural powers for say 10 years. But after the 10 years, Faust’s soul belongs to Satan for eternity. Faust makes the deal with intentions to do good in the world, but really uses the powers for self-aggrandizement and personal amusement. Finally, Faust soul’s belongs to Satan.

There are many other stories like this.

Please, before you ask how or can you do something, ask if you should… And really, you probably shouldn’t. Any power you gain in this temporary world is just that — temporary. It’s never worth it.

But… It is spiritually interesting about how this occurs. First, we must understand that GOD ALONE EXISTS. So if you sell your soul to Satan, you’re really selling your soul to God — what does that mean?
