I like how you said everyone has some sort of complex. I would say this is true like a "hang up". You say that everything we do is with a selfish motive. This could be true! I feel like 'selfish' has a negative connotation like 'self-consciousness'. These are not necessarily bad things, especially in a spiritual context when you are me and I am you.
