The Two Guarantees: Curriculum & Choice
The first is that you will be challenged with a curriculum of self-work. And the second is you will have a choice.
If you grew up with parents that were unkind and abusive, that’s a test in your curriculum. Now you have a choice: Will you deal the blows your parents dealt to you onto your kids, or will you pass the test and shine love onto them? How does your decision affect the lives of your children?
What about the girlfriend or boyfriend — the husband or wife? The boss? The in-laws? The guy that has everything you want? The girl that is more confident and intelligent than you? How will you react to these people? These people don’t have to do anything to you explicitly, they just have to exist —if you respond poorly to their existence, then you have self-work to do.
The Tools You’ll Need: Care & Attention
