Vision’s Vanity
What do you see for yourself?
To have a vision is a trendy thing nowadays. People use vision to make clear what they see for themselves in the future. It provides purpose and direction.
However, I would equate vision to desire. To say you have a vision is to say you see some outcome materializing in the future. Or, you want to see something materialize in the future.
You could have a vision, but not be attached to whether or not the vision comes to fruition. but of course, the vision will come true, so long as you maintain a perfect, unambiguous focus on the vision.
Visions are the primary end result that is strived for. People may set incremental goals to reach that vision.
You see, I don’t have a vision, but I definitely have a Mission. My mission is to realize myself. My mission is to serve God. My mission is to live with grace and excellence. My mission is to create positive influence and uplift. I could speak on a mission all day. But when it comes to vision, I can’t seem to hold on to anything.
Some of my family were talking about envisioning hundreds of thousands of dollars coming into their bank accounts monthly. They asked, “can you see that for yourself?” Someone exclaimed, “yes!”
