YES! MOOOREE, FEED ME!!!
The question is: why more?
My first job out of college was at a Logistics company. I was excited to start this because of its regular salary and the sense of self-worth it gave me. It also made me feel better about the fact that my girlfriend broke up with me a few months prior.
It was a huge blessing to get this job. It was also a huge blessing to get to leave this job. Here’s what it was like:
The office where I worked was basically like sticking computers and desks in the middle of a Buffalo Wild Wings. There were at least 4 huge flat screen TVs stationed in front of your eyes no matter where you looked. All those TVs were rolling your sports, news, and sometimes even reality channels.
To go along with the sports bar vibe was a competitive atmosphere — I was ok with this. Everyone seemed nice enough; it seemed like everyone was willing to help you succeed.
About 2-to-3-hundred people were working on this huge sales floor. Everyone had two monitors. Everyone worked in “teams” which were separated into clusters. Most of them were men, anywhere from out of high school to balding and on the third marriage.
